Yahoo Reorganizing Leadership for Focused Growth

Yahoo recently announced the reorganization of their whole structure to fit in with their main focus, respectively their audience, advertising and also technology. This maybe is a reaction of the recently leaked memo about how Brad Garlinghouse’s Yahoo peanut butter manifesto to describe how Yahoo is not focusing their resources and not focusing their effort to make a deep impact. I believe Brad is happy now that there’s a foundation about what they’re pursuing right now. But, the question is still, will Yahoo be able to focus and are they going to be a strong competitor to other Google? I really hope it’s a yes, because I am sure this will trigger more brilliant features to satisfy us all ultimately.
And this is enhanced with what Semel, Yahoo’s senior management team leader explained, that they’re putting the right people in the right places to execute their focused growth strategy. The leadership assignments reorganization will be effective starting on January 1, 2007. They are expecting to complete its reorganization by the end of Q1 2007.
