I like Live Search Cashback. I’ve used it a couple of times and have gotten some very good deals. Unfortunately for Microsoft, it has not led me to utilize Live Search any more than usual. But I’m more than happy to use the service to save money.

For Black Friday, Microsoft had a good number of sweet deals available for shoppers. Unfortunately, Live Search Cashback has been down for large portions of the day. Uh oh.

As Michael Arrington is reporting, this also doesn’t make Microsoft’s cloud computing effort look very good.

But this may not have anything to do with Microsoft’s cloud computing. Could be a simple case of bad luck.

At the time of writing this article, I’ve gotten a request timeout, hours after the first problems were reported. Not what they had in mind
