After putting out an embarrassment of what they thought to be a “viral” video, Agency.com has pulled themselves from consideration for the Subway account. According to AdAge they pulled out because of a conflicting prospect.

“Simultaneous pitches, combined with a delayed [agency] decision by Subway, resulted in a potential conflict of interest with another prospective client,” the agency said in a statement. “We wish Subway the best of luck in their search for an agency. We look forward to pitching and hopefully working with this prospective client.”

Does this mean we have a Quiznos video to look forward to?

My guess is that they just decided to try to put this whole thing behind them. Which is a pretty good idea.
